We created a custom stain color for this customer in Bismarck, ND. In order for the mantel to come out with a smooth, sleek finish look, there are a number of steps it takes before it is completed. First the mantel was sanded, nail holes were filled, applied the custom color wiping stain, applied one coat of sanding sealer, sanded the mantel again, applied one coat lacquer, sanded it again and lastly applied the final coat of lacquer.
